Paleo Whole 30 Meatballs
Seeing as I am part Italian, Italians love meatballs. Whenever you eat at an Italian restaurant spaghetti and meatballs are a staple on their menu. The problem is not many places make them gluten-free and it’s almost impossible to find them paleo. So instead of trying to find a restaurant that caters to my food allergies, I took it upon myself to create my own recipe.
These oven-baked paleo meatballs are perfect for all my paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free and whole 30 friends. They are easy to make, budget-friendly and only take 20 minutes in the oven so you can be eating in under 30 🙂

Ingredients
- 2 pounds of meatball mix (check for no added ingredients) – my grocery store sells the meatball mix premade but if yours doesn’t then the ratio is one pound grass-fed ground beef and 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp almond flour
- 2 tbsp bragg Liquid aminos soy alternative or this recipe.
- 2 cloves fresh minced garlic

Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 F and grease a baking pan with olive oil.
- In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix until well incorporated. Mixing with hands is the best option.
- Take a cookie scooper and scoop out mixture onto greased baking tray. I made 18 meatballs. You can make them bigger if you prefer, they will just cook in the oven longer.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- ENJOY 🙂 over your favorite paleo pasta with sauce.
