Gluten-free & Dairy-free Banana Bread {GF, DF} – The BEST bread EVER!
I’m just going BANANAS over here over this GLUTEN-FREE & DAIRY-FREE banana bread! The center is the perfect soft texture which when combined with the sweetness of sugar and crunch from the outside will have you going back for more than 1 slice, you might even finish the loaf! 🙂 But that’s okay because this bread is easy to make and might just be my new favorite recipe. Although it’s made with simple ingredients this dessert is anything but average. After years of being gluten-free and buying the store’s GF & DF banana bread I finally decided to try my hand at making my own loaf and this DELICIOUS treat was born.
For a more classy look slice some banana and bake right on top for a bit more ‘food decor.’ For all my chocolate lovers you can even add chocolate chips right into the batter for a heavenly slice! You can even break this bread apart and add to some vanilla pudding for the ULTIMATE banana bread dessert (hint hint..new recipe coming soon! 🙂 ). This yummy treat also stores perfectly for up to 3 days and can be warmed in the toaster/oven for a few minutes for the perfect warm weekend breakie.
This recipe is gluten-free & dairy-free. I have not made it vegan but with the right egg substitution I don’t see why this would be an issue. Maybe I’ll do you one better and make a vegan version of this next weekend? Thoughts! 🙂
