Vegan & Gluten-free Shamrock Shake McDonald’s Copycat – Easy recipe, Gluten-free, Vegan, Dairy-free
McDonalds you’ve been challenged because this vegan and gluten-free Shamrock shake dare I say is better then the original? Bold statement, I know, but once you try it you too will fall IN-LOVE with how easy and delicious this milkshake is.
Made with my favorite so delicious vanilla ice cream, and topped with coconut milk whipped cream, or you can make your own whipped topping here, then finished off with green sparkling sugar. It’s easy, delicious and extremely addicting. It’s only been a week since I made this recipe and since then I’ve prepared it another 3 times cause it really is the perfect way to finish off my night in a somewhat healthy way. π
Just because you are vegan or dairy-free doesn’t mean you too can’t enjoy everything McDonalds’ shamrock shake has to offer. Make this recipe as a singer serving or multiple so you and the family can enjoy an ice cream shake that is PURE GOLD!
To kick off my first food recipe post for St. Patrick’s day I am sharing my vegan take on the famous McDonald’s Shamrock Shake! ENJOY π

How good does that look. Drooling over here! β

Ingredients
- 1 cup dairy-free vanilla ice cream – I used So Delicious
- 1/2 cup Oat milk – or your favorite dairy-free milk
- 2-3 drops mint extract (you want mint NOT Peppermint). 2 drops for a faint mint taste 3-4 for a stronger mint taste.
- 3 drops green food coloring
- Dairy-free whipped cream – I used a coconut milk whipped cream.
- Green sparkling sugar (for topping)
The perfect mint color. Add more green food coloring for a stronger mint taste or a more vibrant green! β

Directions
- Add vanilla ice cream, oat milk, mint extract & green food coloring to a blender. Blend until smooth, add more ice cream if it’s not thick enough or more milk if it’s too thick.
- Top with whipped cream & green sugar. ENJOY π
