Gluten-free & dairy free ham, cheddar cheese & chive scones {GF, DF}
Hey friends! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve blogged and I am so sorry! Thank you for all the emails wondering if I am okay, what’s going on and why I haven’t been posting. 🙂 Long story short I’ve been super busy working, preparing for school and finishing my house renovation so I have had barely any time for blogging or something other than work, ehh. With that being said, I am happy to now report that I am back to blogging officially! So thank you so much for your patience. Now for the reason you all clicked on todays post. FOOD!
For the past few months it has been a goal of mine to perfect my scone recipe. The first few times I made them they were either overly dry or overly wet (inside). 🙁 So, I did what I do best. I hit the internet, conferred with other scone recipes and figured out what went wrong and where. First, my baking times were way off and as any baker will tell you this is a problem. Second, the amount of milk I was adding either wasn’t enough or was too much. So I easily changed the measurements plus added a secret ingredient which takes them to a whole new level. Now, they are perfect!
I think it’s safe to say that there is nothing quite like a warm cheesy scone coming out of the oven to brighten your day. 🙂 These scones have quickly become a family favorite in my home and are sure to become one in yours as well. They are very easy to make, require minimal ingredients and are the perfect comfort food for the upcoming Fall weather ushering in!

This recipe is gluten and dairy free but if you want you can replace the non gluten and non dairy containing ingredients with your own preferences. Any questions then leave a comment below.
