5 natural ways to keep your home smelling fresh- eliminate oders
Since this whole self-isolation/quarantine has started I’ve found myself going out less and staying home more. Who’s with me!? 🙂 Because of this added time at home I am cleaning more, baking up a storm, and reading books like there’s no tomorrow! And as an introvert, I LOVE it!
The Fall is quickly apporaching, in fact where I live the leaves have already started changing, insane, I know right! Plus, since school has started back up, online of course, I am home a lot. So, to keep myself busy and my mind sane I’ve written down a number of fun projects to do and one of them I am going to share with you today! 🙂
Scents- I am a candle hoarder, it’s begun to be a bit of a problem. 1. because I am trying to spend less money this year and 2. because I am running out of room to store them all! With that being said, I am not going to give up my candle obsession especially with fall being so close but what I am going to do is divert some of my attention to creating natural scents to keep my home smelling fresh. Let’s face it. Sure candles smell nice but sometimes the ingredients in them can be a bit scary to read. So, to combat this why not try a few of these 100% DIY home scents to keep your place smelling spiffy and clean, all while staying 100% natural. 🙂

- Then carefully remove plastic liner from slow cooker (with mixture) and place in a liquid measuring cup folding the excess plastic over the edges.
- Now, sprinkle dried lavender in silicone mold and pour wax mixture on top.
- Wait until the wax is solid, remove from silicone molds and how you’re ready to use it in your wax warmer!
