Dollar-store DIY Pot of Gold craft – $5 crafts!
Anyone up for a $5 craft? Yes, you heard that right, it only cost me $5 to make this EASY DIY, you can’t beat that! It’s the perfect craft to make with the family or for something fun to do this weekend. It requires only 5 materials and is a colorful way to show your St. Patty’s day pride without breaking the bank.
The other day I took a trip to the Dollar Store and could not believe how many craft items they sold. Glue, paint, pipe cleaners, pots, brushes, glitter, sequins, felt, paper, markers, crayons……So I bought tons of their items, spent ONLY $20, score, came home and tried them out. The quality of them was way better then I thought they would be which excited me so much. Don’t get me wrong, I love a trip the Michaels craft store, it’s my second home, but let’s face it, it’s expensive. So if I, and you, can buy similar items for a fraction of the cost, let’s goooo!!! It was like a mini Michaels in there which gave me the idea for a new DIY series on my channel.
DOLLAR STORE DIY’S!
Dollar stores are everywhere across America, so it’s easy access and they are affordable so everyone can make these crafts!
The materials you will need for this DIY are pack of gold coins, pipe cleaners, pots, wooden craft sticks, white pompoms and glue. Hot glue is preferable but the dollar store only sells regular crafting glue (at least the one by me) so that will also work fine. It will just take longer to make this craft.
Let’s get DIYing!
