Block Island Vacation Travel & Picture Diary: September 2021
A few days ago we returned from our summer vacation to Block Island. Me and my dad have been vacationing here for years and every time we visit I forget just how beautiful it is. If you have never been, I highly suggest adding Block Island (located off the coast of Rhode Island) to your BUCKET LIST!!!
We took many pictures, ate lots of DELICIOUS food, went to the beach A LOT and had a wonderful 10 days on our great Block Island escape. I made it a goal of mine to stay off my phone all day, except for the evenings when I would respond to messages, and instead pick up a book to read! I really enjoyed my time away from social media. It allowed my mind to relax and recharge for the next few hectic months.
Breakfast at the National Hotel- The National Omelet. It was so great how they have many gluten-free options & even a whole gluten-free Dinner menu!!! I was surprised at how many cafe’s & restaurants served GF, Vegan, DF, Paleo food options. I had no trouble finding food to eat at any of our nights out.

Mansion Beach on a cloudy Hurricane day. On Wednesday of our trip we did experience a piece of Hurricane Irene. Heavy rains, strong winds….. which made the waves HUGE!

What a fun trip and a great way to end the Summer! I hope all my younger readers have a wonderful start to the school year and all my older ones have a great back to the work week!
