600 followers appreciation post! Thank you :)

When I first started my blog 2 summers ago I remember thinking, will people enjoy it? Will they like the content I post? I had no prior experience with blogging or any sort of social media so it took a lot of practice before I felt comfortable enough to build a blogging site.

I clearly remember my first blog post. It was nothing remotely related to what I post now and my writing was mediocre but despite this I remember feeling accomplished and excited to see where this journey would take me.

Fast forward 2 years → Last night I reached 600 follows on my blog! Over halfway to 1,000. So, I think it’s safe to say my fears of ‘will people enjoy my blog & its content’ can be put to rest  🙂

I cannot even begin to explain how happy and grateful I am to all of you. It was less than 3 months ago that I was saying ‘thank you for 500 follows’ and here I am a short while later thanking you again!

The support I receive from all my followers, the views, the likes, the comments …… it makes my heart smile. Seeing that people from all around the globe enjoy my content and follow along with me on my journey is something very special.

Instead of incorporating the ‘thank you’ into a blog post I feel that these ‘thank you’ should have their own separate posts to show you just how grateful I really am for all the love and support. The DIY Lifestyle fam is growing and I am truly amazed at how beautiful and supportive its community is.

One last time…… THANK YOU! I appreciate you all so very much and cannot wait for you to see all the exciting things coming this fall and winter! I’ve been a busy bee.
