NEW Golden Gluten-free Oreo REVIEW: Are they worth the HYPE?
I know I am late to the game, but a few days ago I FINALLY had the chance to try the new GLUTEN-FREE Golden Oreos!!!! Not only are they GLUTEN-FREE but also VEGAN (as all Oreos are).
Side note: I heard Chips Ahoy is coming out with their famous chocolate chips cookies in a gluten-free version, so I am keeping my ears peeled for this drop 🙂
My thoughts
I tried the gluten-free chocolate Oreo’s a few years ago- review linked here– and I was so IMPRESSED with them! When I heard Oreo came out with their famous Golden Oreos but a GLUTEN-FREE version, I had to try them!!!
The texture of these cookies was chalky. The Chocolate wafers are smoother and I found the Golden ones on the grainy side. The middle part was smooth and had a great vanilla flavor but I found it slightly more dry compared to the Chocolate Oreo center.
I am a fan of the double stuff, so I hope Oreo comes out with a gluten-free Golden double stuff, and I would like to see if they make any changes to the ingredients.
Overall, I prefer the GLUTEN-FREE Chocolate Oreos, but these were still enjoyable. If you prefer vanilla to chocolate then give these a try!
