My Favorites this Fall- what I am currently loving- food, clothing, makeup
Hey everyone! I’ve been seeing a lot of “my favorites” posts circling around so I thought I would give it a try and see how it goes!
If you know me you know I love all things Fall. Pumpkin lattes, pumpkin pie, apple pie, chunky sweaters, pecan pie, fall makeup, fall colors ……… It’s one of the best times of year to dress and one of the best times of year to eat! Though truthfully I make apple and pumpkin pie all year around. 🙂 So, since I am obviously such a fall fanatic I decided to compile a list of everything, from food to clothing, that I am am loving at the moment.
Nothing quite like maple to get you into the Fall spirit. – A few months ago I stumbled upon Justins maple almond butter and it has since captured my heart. I thought regular almond butter was delicious so when I tried this my slight obsession grew 10x.
The word “Fall” is in the name of this product so it definitely needed to be a staple in my life. – Morphe makeup is such a high quality brand at such an affordable price. The 35F Fall into Frost Palette is the perfect palette for all your fall and everyday needs. The colors are stunning and the price is just superb!
Fall weather has been hitting hard where I live so my all time favorite brand has been keeping me nice and toasty. Alo Yoga Alosoft leggings are the perfect leggings to wear during the wintertime. Not only are they soooo soft but they also don’t let any of the cold air cut through them.
If you know me you know I love to shop! Clothes shopping is one of my favorite hobbies, yes it’s a hobby, for me to do. But, since I started college this year I wanted to make sure my expenses were low, which is why Nordstrom rack is the perfect place to shop. They offer high quality $300 shoes, clothes, jewelry…. at a discounted price! Yes you heard that right! You can easily buy beautiful high quality clothing at a very affordable rate.
I have been gluten free & dairy free for many years now so finding the perfect protein powder has been a struggle. I’ve tried so many brands and after months and months i’ve finally come across the best one out there. Orgain organic plant based meal replacement powder is vegan, gluten free, soy free and non GMO! In addition, not only does it taste great but you can also use it as a meal replacement. So those days when you’re running late and have nothing to snack on, make a shake instead. 🙂
In addition to being gluten and dairy free I have also dabbled in paleo. Although it is difficult to stick to, the benefits are really amazing. So, although I have a hard time being 100% paleo I do consider myself 80% which I think is a pretty good start. – Finding paleo friendly foods can be tough on your bank account. Not gonna lie, eating plant based can be more expensive, which is why I am so happy to have found Julian’s Bakery paleo thin coconut bread. I buy them in bulk on her website and it is such a good deal for such a delicious tasting bread. Also, it’s super low in calories! 🙂
Red lipstick is no stranger to the holidays, in fact I think it may be the most popular color during this time. – Finding the perfect shade of red is hard. Some are too pink and others too vampirish. For year i’ve always skipped the red lip during the Holiday’s but this year I won’t need to. When talking with my friends they raved about the makeup brand Mac and their Russian Red lipstick. So of course I had to order it and let me just say WOW! If you’re looking for the perfect red lipstick then look no further.
Last on this list I am sharing my favorite clothing items which I have recently purchased. The first is this beautiful corduroy jacket. Now they don’t have it online anymore but you can find similar ones here, here (men), here, and here. For shoes my two favorite pairs are these beautiful ones from Pegasus shoe store and the booties from Frye. Unfortunately Pegasus doesn’t have an online store but my Frye boots you can shop here. These clothing items are perfect for the Fall and Winter months so I am over the moon happy that it’s finally September.
