If you’ve been following my blog for some time now then you know that running is something I love to do. For many years I’ve been running for fun and today December 7th, 2019 I started my first training for a marathon. This is something I have never done before but it’s something I am very excited for.
Along the way I will be running in 10K’s and half marathons to track my progress so I stay on track and am constantly progressing.
Today was my first run and I didn’t track any miles I just went for a fun run so I can build a healthy relationship with running and not just do this for the race. But to have fun along the way and start a journey which I hope to continue for many years. This certainly won’t be the only marathon I run.
In addition to my 3 weekly blog posts, I will also be uploading marathon update posts so you can follow along with me and see how far I’m running, what my meals look like, and how I train outside of running.
Along the way, as a way to document my journey I will be blogging to share the good, bad and ugly, and I hope you will follow along with me.
This is going to be a very exciting journey both mentally and physically and it’s a journey that I am more than ready to work towards.
