The Best Gluten-free Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 1/2 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 10 tbsp unsalted butter - softened
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips


  • Preheat oven to 350 F degrees
  • Combine gluten-free flour, baking soda and salt, mix
  • Add in sugars, mix until well incorporated
  • In a separate bowl combine eggs and vanilla extract. Add to flour bowl. Mix.
  • Add in softened butter either mixing by hand or with an electric mixer on the low speed. Then add in chocolate chips.
  • Refrigerate dough for 3-4 hours in a covered bowl. Then bake!
  • Grease a cookie sheet with butter (IMPORTANT!) and make 1 tbsp or bigger size cookie dough balls. Bake for 10 -15 minutes.
  • Check around the 10 minute mark to make sure they don't overcook.
  • They will be puffy and lightly browned on the top with a gooey and soft middle. :)
