Life is a beautiful blessing that we have been allowed to explore. Each day I wake up I find reasons to be grateful and make the most of my day. Even on challenging days, when work, school, and people get the best of you, finding a reason, even if it’s 1 small thing to be happy about is important.
After reflecting on this question, I feel there can be many things that make the list of “the most important things needed to live a good life”, so I’m only going to focus on the non-material ones. While having money certainly doesn’t hurt, they always say money doesn’t buy happiness, which I do agree with. It’s more important to surround yourself with kind, caring, happy people who lift you up and compliment you, and vice versa. It’s equally important to find happiness in your life as well- whether it be in your job, family, schooling, or life….. find pockets of peace throughout the day.
Focusing on your physical and mental health is vital. Take care of yourself, eat healthy food, exercise- bringing good food and air into your body, but also living in moderation. #icecreamisLIFE! 🙂
Don’t judge other people. You never know what somebody else has going on in their life. Focus on yourself, your feelings, your happiness, and how you live your life. One of my favorite practices is meditation. I compliment this with running to help de-stress and improve my focus.
