Gluten-free & dairy-free chocolate chip banana bread
Banana bread is one of my favorite desserts. A plain slice or toasted with butter, no matter how I eat it, it’s always 10/10, and this recipe proves just that.
If you have recently embarked on a gluten-free lifestyle or are avoiding dairy, then, you’re going to want to add this treat to your recipe book. A loaf of soft flavorful bread with the added sweetness of the bananas makes this dessert very hard to top. Eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, enjoy however you want, but one thing’s for sure, it’s going to become a new family favorite.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4 medium bananas – mashed
- 2 1/4 cups gluten-free flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray
- In a bowl combine oil and sugar (brown and white). Add eggs, mixing until well blended.
- Add mashed bananas, gluten-free flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Mix
- Add in chocolate chips- stir
- Scoop mixture into greased pan and bake for 65-75 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean in the center and top is crispy golden brown. Place a sheet of tinfoil over top after 1 hour of cooking to prevent excessive browning.
- Allow bread to cool for 10 minutes, slice, and enjoy. 🙂
